There were about 44 boats made in total. It was possible to buy the hull/deck/bulkheads alone for £4060 (early ‘70’s prices!)
The design was aimed at the fast cruising market, but they were quickly used for racing, being an excellent heavy weather boat. They feature a large sheltered cockpit with huge cockpit lockers. Down below, Hustler 35's are well fitted out with 5, 6 or 7 berths, enclosed heads, full size chart table, and plenty of storage.
