About Hustlers The Hustler 35 is an all GRP yacht, designed by Don Pye, of Holman and Pye. They were produced from 1970 until around 1978. The Tyler Boat Company produced the first 38 hull and deck mouldings, for fitting out by There were about 44 boats made in total. It was possible to buy the hull/deck/bulkheads alone for £4060 (early ‘70’s prices!) The design was aimed at the fast cruising market, but they were quickly used for racing, being an excellent heavy weather boat. They feature a large sheltered cockpit with huge cockpit lockers. Down below, Hustler 35's are well fitted out with 5, 6 or 7 berths, enclosed heads, full size chart table, and plenty of storage. A review of the Hustler 35 is available as a reprint from the March 2012 edition of PBO Magazine.
